Home Staging Design Quick Tips

Home Staging Design GuideIn your list of companies you form alliances with (a topic discussed in course 5 of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program), make sure you’ve got a carpenter, or a handyman with carpentry skills.

Here are two ideas where this will come in handy, taken from the Staging Diva Ultimate Design Guide: Home Staging Tips, Tricks and Floor Plans:

  • In the right home, decorative molding can take an otherwise boring room and turn it into something special. For example, installing molding around doors, ceilings or baseboards can make them look more substantial
  • Flat-panel cabinet doors and drawers (in kitchens and bathrooms, for example) can be made to look more expensive once you add molding, repaint, and install more expensive-looking knobs and pulls.

“The Staging Diva Design Guide is not only full of fresh design insights but clearly outlines what every stager needs to know to become successful when staging clients’ homes. This comprehensive resource is a must-have for both new and experienced professionals!” (Isabelle Gelderblom, England)
