Congratulations to Staging Diva Graduate Carol King of King Staging and Redesign (TX) on reinventing her life at the age
of 62 to do work that she loves. Carol had run her own hair salon for 30 years and needed a change. She was also tired of the demands of having over 20 stylists working for her. One of the advantages of a home staging business is that you do not need any employees or overhead.
Before even thinking of becoming a home stager for a living, Carol staged a home for a couple going through a divorce. The house was empty, so she got furniture, accessories, art and flowers and made it feel warm and inviting. The house sold the first day, and had multiple offers, selling well over asking the asking price.
Carol writes: “I know I was born to do this. I love beautiful things and I want to help others to see their home as beautiful and somewhere they really want to be.”
