Staging Success Spotlight on Jodi Whalen

Congratulations to Staging Diva Graduate Jodi Whalen of Pear Tree Home Designs (NJ) on getting two home staging projects from the same Realtor within two weeks. Going through agents can pose special challenges as I discuss in Staging Diva’s Sales and Marketing Secrets to Boost Your Staging Business, but when you find the right ones to work with it can be a nice stream of home staging projects.

Jodi previously had a corporate job that required a 90 minute commute to and from work. Now she has time to be home with her toddler while also building her business. She told me, “Thank you for answering my prayers and helping me change my life and career.”

For a recent staging project, Jodi finished her work on a Friday, the client had an offer on Sunday and by Monday they had settled and were out of attorney review. Way to go Jodi, balancing your new business with being a Mom, doing work you love and making a difference in your client’s lives too. It doesn’t get better than that!
